About me at 23

I'm from the Mississippi Delta, where my dad raises catfish and my six brothers play sports; momma's sweet and smaller than me and my baby sister will always be called Baby. Well, you can call her Molly, but she'll always be Baby to me. And I'm a 23-year-old woman. I'm still not sure if I'm supposed to say woman or lady or girl, but I'm female anyways, so at least I've got that figured out. And now I'm living in London, missing Baby, and praying that when I finally come home she'll remember my face and still love the swings in the park like she used to.

"Are you gonna live in London forever?"

Baby likes to talk on the phone. And she knows that I had to come here to do acting in the movies; not in the cartoon ones, but the ones with real people, because that's what I like to do.

"It's always better to do what you like to do."

Sometimes I feel silly for taking advice from a nine-year-old.

"It doesn't always mean that it's gonna, you know.. work out, but it's always better to try, you know?"

Baby loves feeding dogs, so when she gets older she's gonna try at that too.

"But you can't do acting in Mississippi?"

"No, Baby.. I can't do acting in Mississippi."

"So you had to go to London, right?"

"That's right, Baby."
